From December 1 to 24, our crystal advent calendar opens one door every day. Behind each door: a natural stone, the intention traditionally associated with it, and a small ritual for the day. It is free, online, and needs no account. This guide explains how it works, what kinds of stones are waiting behind the 24 doors (without spoiling the surprise), and how to turn a stone of the day into a Christmas gift.

What is a crystal advent calendar?

A crystal advent calendar replaces the usual chocolate with a natural stone for each day from December 1 to 24. There are two kinds. The first is a physical box with 24 small tumbled stones to unwrap. The second, like ours, is an online calendar: nothing to buy or store, just one stone to discover each morning, with its colour, its story and the intentions traditionally linked to it.

Ours is the second kind. We do not sell a box of stones: the calendar is a free daily ritual, and if one stone speaks to you, you can design a bracelet with it in a few clicks.

How does the calendar work?

One door opens each day at midnight, Paris time, from December 1 to 24; doors you missed stay open, so you can catch up at any time. Future doors stay locked until their day.

  1. Open the advent calendar page; today’s door is highlighted.
  2. Tap the door to reveal the stone of the day, its intention and a short ritual.
  3. Read more about the stone on its own page, or design a bracelet with it.
  4. Come back tomorrow: the next door will be waiting.

Before December 1, the page shows a countdown and a « Remind me on December 1 » button, so you don’t miss the first door. The calendar is also part of Stone of the Day: opening ten doors unlocks the « Advent spirit » badge in My path.

Which stones are behind the 24 doors?

24 different stones, chosen to travel through all seven chakras over the month, with a soft focus on the heart for the festive season. We keep the order a surprise, but here is how the selection is balanced:

Chakra traditionally associatedDoorsIntentions you will meet
Heart10love, gentleness, luck, harmony, comfort
Third eye and crown4intuition, wisdom, peace, spirituality
Throat3communication, calm, comfort
Solar plexus3abundance, confidence, courage, energy
Root3grounding, protection, strength
Sacral1creativity, vitality
The 24 stones of the calendar grouped by the chakra traditionally associated with them.

Expect familiar stones such as rose quartz or tiger’s eye, and rarer finds such as kunzite or celestite. Every stone in the calendar is also available in our bracelet builder, so each door can become a real piece of jewellery.

Why one stone a day in December?

Because December is busy, and a small daily ritual takes less than a minute. Opening a door each morning is a moment to slow down: look at a stone, read the intention traditionally associated with it, and keep it in mind for the day. After 24 days, you will know 24 stones by their colour, their origin and their story, which is also the best way to choose your own bracelet later.

How can I turn a stone of the day into a Christmas gift?

Each door has a « Design a bracelet with… » button that opens our bracelet builder with that stone already selected. Choose the wrist size and bead size, add other stones if you like, and see the bracelet before ordering. It is an easy personal gift: pick the stone that opened on a day that matters, or the one whose intention suits the person you are thinking of.

Can I make my own crystal advent calendar at home?

Yes: 24 small envelopes or pouches, 24 tumbled stones, and a short note for each day are enough. To keep it varied, use the table above as a guide and spread the stones across the seven chakras rather than picking only your favourites. You can also follow our online calendar as your daily key: open the door, then find the matching stone in your pouch.

Open the first door on December 1

The calendar starts on December 1. Until then, you can ask for a reminder on the calendar page, or discover a stone every day already with Stone of the Day.

The intentions mentioned here are those traditionally associated with each stone. They are not a substitute for medical advice.
