Length and tolerance
With spacers or charms, the actual length is shown and stays within a tolerance of −5 to +8 mm.
Round beads fill the chosen wrist size exactly. With elements of different sizes, the actual length varies: the builder calculates it to a tenth of a millimetre.
The indicator
As soon as there is a spacer or a charm, the length is shown (under the title on computers, under the counter on phones):
- in green: "Length 19.4 cm · target 19 cm ✓";
- in red, with advice: "… 9 mm too long. Remove a bead or a spacer" or "… 7 mm too short. Add a bead or a spacer".
The tolerance
On elastic cord, a few millimetres more or less make no difference when worn: the length can range from −5 to +8 mm around the chosen wrist size.
- A full bracelet still accepts a small spacer as long as the length stays within the tolerance.
- Beyond that, the addition is refused with a clear message. No bead is ever removed without warning.
The actual size is given in the order email.
