Adjusting an element

Measurements, hollow element, rotation, shift, charm and maximum per bracelet, with the live preview.

Every setting shows straight away in the live preview (choose the bead size, the wrist and a stone to test).

Measurements

  • Length on the cord (required): the space the element takes between two beads, in mm.
  • Width seen from above: empty = from the photo's proportions.

Hollow element

For a bead cap or a flared rondelle, neighbouring beads sink into it:

  • Hollow opening: the diameter of the flared hole at the edge of the element;
  • Hollow depth: how far a bead can go in at most;
  • Hollow: on both sides, or on one side only (left or right on the photo).

Leave empty if the element is not hollow.

Charm

  • Charm height: from the top of the ring to the bottom of the charm, in mm.
  • Hanging point: where the cord goes through on the photo (0 = very top, 50 = middle; usually 5 to 10).

Orientation

  • Rotation: turn the photo so the element follows the circle.
  • Shift left ↔ right and up ↕ down: fine adjustment in mm. Reset cancels the shift.
  • Flip (mirror).

Maximum per bracelet

For example 1 for a charm. Empty = no limit.
